  Any one have the 2006 statistics yet.

  i got them in my km.. 3% growth for the us and world wide.. 9,105 partakers up from last i think.. this is from memory right now.

  i might sneak the km in to my scanner soon assuming someone hasn't already..

  Well, there ya go. hehe. There is also a link lingering around that shows all the changes over the course of the years. It is amazing that there have been so many changes and yet people still get baptised into the organization.

  hi , there was a discussion on this very topic not too long ago. I think I may have asked it.

  I'll see if I can find it, also you can do a google search. I'll see (or maybe someone else who is faster than I ) can help too. There are some very intellegent people on here who are always willing to help.

  Sweetface2233 brought up something that made me think of something else.

  Fathers and Mothers days cannot be celebrated either? Geez.. The bible even says to Honor thy mother and father. Even though we are to do that all the time, Just having a day set a side just for your mom's and pops is really nice. I know it always makes my parents feel twice as special.

  I'm so glad I didn't have to grow up in the false teachings. I'm just worried for those (friends and other family members) who are lost and stuck in it from the time they were born.

  PS.. JW"s have no trouble taking advantage of mothers and fathers day sales in the stores!!!!!!!!!!!!

  does anyone know if there is a single place that list all the current beliefs and teachings of the jw's.

  i like to have something i can compare history with to have something to fall back on to show people changes in the belief that they are being taught.

  dear friends,.

  i would like to say thank you for the gratitude expressed for the scans i have been providing.. i had the time to do this while i was sitting at my computer during the hours, days and weeks that i cared for my very sick wife.

  at the moment, my partner of 46 years lies very ill in hospital, so you will understand that i currently do not have the time to scour the various threads and posts.

  I hope everything goes well with you and your wife. As much as we will miss the frequent updates it is understandable that your wife should be put first. I pray that she makes a full recovery. Take care of your self and eachother.
